So we have two foundational scriptures that we're going to read starting off this

Sermonic journey. We're going to read these two foundational texts and then

later on in the message we're going to exegy them, okay? So we're going to start

first in Genesis. Should not be hard for you to find this. Genesis chapter one, if

it is, it's okay. We'll disciple you. No judgment. Genesis chapter one is the

first book of the Bible, first chapter of the Bible. Genesis chapter one, we're

going to launch our reading at verses 26 and 27 and then we're going to hop all

the way to Proverbs chapter 25 and read verse 28. Genesis chapter one, verses 26,

the 27 and Proverbs chapter 25 verse 28. If you do not have a tangible Bible, it

is okay. It'll be projected for you on the screen and everybody online. We will

have a display for you on the lower thurs. I'm just going to read these

foundational texts and then we're going to break them down later. Genesis chapter

one, verse 26, if you got it, would you yell at your boy? I got it. It says,

then God said, let us make man speaking of mankind humanity. Let us make man in our

image according to our likeness. Let them have dominion. Somebody say, I have dominion.

Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and

over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on

the earth. So God created man, which is mankind, in his own image. In the image of God,

he created him. Male and female. Somebody say there is a difference. Male and

female. He created them. Now, Proverbs chapter 25, verse 28, it says, whoever has no

rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down without walls to tag a title for the conclusion
