Adam and Eve were communing with God and walking with Him each morning in the cool of

the garden.

Eden was their home, and all of creation was their backyard, but soon enough, because of

their sin, they were sent out of the garden.

An angel with a flashing, flaming sword protected and guarded the entrance and barred their return.

The young couple still had access to God, but were now banished from Eden, the home

He had created for them, the home they still craved and ached for.

You know, the ache for home lives in all of us, a safe place where we can go as we are,

the place where we are accepted.
