because that's the emphasis is the truth.

If you skip down to the third verse, he says,

I rejoice greatly when the brethren came and testified

of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.

And I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in the truth.

This is God talking, isn't it?

God talking to us.

Is it true that God has no greater joy than to see us

knowing and speaking

and walking in and doing the truth?
