Hello and welcome to Prospects to Pros. My name is Nate Tice. I am your host today. Today we're going to be talking about first year players, second year players, various

categories in the NFC. We'll be going division by division. Last week, we did the AFC. So if you

want to check that one out, it's still on the feed, still pretty fresh. Even with cuts, we have not

said anything too stupid with cuts day. And none of the guys that we touted got cut or anything

But any big takeaways from Week Zero, college football? I mean, it was just, I was watching tape this morning, and, you know, it's U-TEP, but it's just feels so good to have new tape, you know, it's just like the new season. We didn't have a lot of big games, Week Zero, but yeah, you know, Gavin Hardison, quarterback for U-Tep. Yeah, he was my 13th senior quarterback in my ranking, something like that.

He's got something to him.

He's got an arm.

So he'll have a chance.

But yeah, not a lot of big games, Notre Dame, USC played, Sam Hartman, Caleb Williams.

So something to take away from Week Zero, but weren't any big storylines happening.

Right.

It was, oh, USC defense looks the same. Cahill Williams looks the same. Compliment. Yeah, one is derogatory and one is complimentary. What I say the same there? But yeah, the U-Tep quarterback, I have been meaning to ask you about him because I went back and watched his game against Oklahoma last year. I was just saying, you know, that's what's nice with week zero and no NFL on. It's like, okay, I can take an hour here. God, he's got a real arm. Like, he's got a live arm and he can throw off platform. The joke I made, I actually, I shouldn't have made this joke because he's an okay athlete. But I said he throws like Jeff George, but he runs like Jeff George today. That's kind of how it is. But, I mean, he's got, I mean, he's got some real juice now. Someone to keep an eye on. So I think that's a lot of fun. I wasn't really expecting to focus on the UTEP minors this entire season. But I will be. I would be making sure to keep an eye on that guy. Well, it's a loaded senior class of quarterbacks.

Like you said, he's an average athlete at best. Like, I think he'll run under a five second 40. And that's probably the nicest thing I can say about his athleticism. But, yeah, he's got an NFL arm. You know, that touchdown that they called back or he dropped it. The receiver dropped it in the end zone uh that i mean that's

that's an NFL throw so yeah Gavin hardison a name underrated name to know uh that we'll be talking
