Miguel Vargas of the Dodgers, Jared Kelnick of the Mariners, DL Hall of the Orioles, Alec

Berluson of the Cardinals and Corbin Carroll, a new edition of the Arizona Diamondback.

Scott, talk to me about DL Hall, I feel like could be coming with Tyler Wells lining

on the I.L. and Corbin Carroll is just tearing up the minor leagues this season.

Yes he is, so we'll start with DL Hall, who I think had reached a point where it was

any day now for him, every start could be his last in the minors, he had overcome a pitch

tipping issue and in the 5 starts that followed a point 8.3 ERA, point 8.3 Whip, 17.4 K

per 9, you only two strikeouts per inning.

He's never been a stranger to strikeouts, a left-hander who can reach triple digits,

you don't see that much, like Shane McClanahan and DL Hall might be the next to do it, you

know.

But then his most recent start, he allowed six-hundred runs and two-thirds of an inning, so I don't

know what that means for DL Hall's timetable, I don't really know what happened to cause

things to go so poorly.

When he has struggled in the past, it's usually because of walks and that remains an issue

for him.

It wasn't as bad during that great 5 start stretch, but it still wasn't great.

If anything's going to hold him back, I think that's it.
