And on this week's episode, I'll be doing a mailbag in response to my top 400 prospect rankings update, which went live yesterday on Tuesday.

This is my second update of the year. The first one was January 15th, which is kind of the big off-season update. This one, you know,

you're factoring in some players that maybe I missed on the January 15th update.

You're factoring in players who've made waves this spring, maybe players who've gotten injured,

players whose team context has changed a little bit due to free agency.

So there's a lot that gets factored in on this update. I really don't like this update

relative to a lot of the other updates. I think the spring training update, end of spring

training update, which is this one, and then the Memorial Day update. Those are probably my

two least favorite because you're just working with really small

samples you're working with incomplete samples when we're talking about all the different

prospects on this on these rankings you know over half of them there's really nothing new to

kind of go on from the last update and then with with a lot of these guys, a lot has changed.

So it feels like kind of an incomplete amount of information.

So it's not my favorite update, but it's a necessary update.

It's an update where I can write some wrongs from the prior one.

And hopefully not overreact too much to what's been happening

in the spring.
