Summary

Although it is a huge trend these days, there are many pros and cons of owning RV Land that need to be considered before jumping in and deciding to develop your own property. We're no experts, but after spending the last nine months buying and then developing five acres of forested land for our own private RV retreat in Middle Tennessee, we have learned a few things that may save you time and money if owning RV land is high on your bucket list. 0:26.3	Hello, everybody. I'm Mike Wedlin, and this is my lifelong traveling companion and my bride, Jennifer.
0:37.8	And this is another edition of the RV podcast coming to you from inside our RV as it is parked on Lob Lally Ridge.
0:42.4	That's the name of the property we just completed developing into kind of like a little private RV resort
0:45.6	near Linden, Tennessee and Middle Tennessee.
0:49.3	We've been here a little over a week now,
0:51.6	and it's awesome. Should I say it it's growing on us it has grown on us
0:58.2	we were going to actually only be here a few days and we've stayed over we got to take a quick trip
1:03.8	down to florida for a couple of days uh and then we're coming right back for some more time but
1:08.8	this has been awesome.
1:20.3	We bought this property back in late 2021, and we've been since then developing it into three little private RV spots.
1:26.8	Oh, my gosh, you have to look at the video on YouTube that we put up this past weekend, and you can see what we like it, but we're
1:29.6	sure having a good time.
1:31.6	And I think what I'm liking right now, we've got the window open, it's not so incredibly
1:35.7	hot today as we are recording this, and the wind is blowing through the trees, and it's lovely.
1:43.6	The lob-lali pine trees, which is why we named it Loblally Ridge.
1:49.7	Hey, the Hershey R.V. show is just a little over a month away.
1:55.2	It actually opens to the public in a month on Wednesday, September 14th.
2:02.3	It runs until Sunday the 18th.
2:05.6	And, of course, we're going, and we are going to be doing meet and greets with all of our friends
2:11.9	and fans and followers pretty much every day of the show at different spots.
