People are still trying to qualify themselves for intimacy with God.

Fire Starters podcast. We are in for such a treat today I have with me. Dano McCullum, who has joined us here at LCU for the day teaching our students. And now we get to chat with him for a while. So, Dano, thank you for being here. Thanks, Terry. It's great to be here. Yes, sir. Listen, I'm really excited to talk to you. I've been sitting and listening to some of what you were teaching the students today, and I've heard parts of what you do. And, you know, here at Lifestyle Christianity, I mean, Todd calls it Lifestyle Christianity for a reason, because he's a big believer in that, you know, evangelism or sharing the love of Jesus with people should be the everyday Christian life.

Like this isn't, you know, a task that we do or a project.

This is the Christian life.

You're known for the prophetic, and I would love to hear how you see the prophetic being a part of everyday Christian life.

That's such a great question. And several years ago, about nine years ago, the Lord,

I'm like, how do we go to the next level and the prophetic? And one of the things he said was,

I want you to see the prophetic as a life skill and not just a ministry skill.

In other words, the Lord wants to give intel into every area of society.

If we see God as the creator of all things, then he has a value system for all things.

And so I think one of the things that happens with the prophetic is that

we tend to compartmentalize it into a church thing, ministry thing, spirit thing. And if we don't

deem it spiritual, then we don't think it belongs to the prophetic or that the prophetic would be functional in that area.

And so I love that God's actually not like that.

He has downloads about family, about education, about government, about every sphere of society,

because as creator of all things, he has value for all things he's created.
