Daniel is one of, if not the most vital, prophecy books in the entire Bible.

The understanding of the end-time world government, the world religion, the Antichrist,

the Israeli-Palestian peace agreement, and many others are all dependent on Daniel's writings.

And we will continue our study of the Book of Daniel on this edition

of the End in Babylon.

We learned why Judah was carried away into Babylon and why God decreed this must happen

and the circumstances surrounding the captivity.

We discussed the first invasion of Judah by Nebuchadnezzar in approximately, I think it was

back in about 604 BC.

Daniel and the three Hebrew children, they went with Nebuchadnezzar at that time

because Jeremiah had been preaching in Judah that this invasion was coming and it should

not be resisted. Jeremiah said, if you go willingly, then God will bless you in your captivity, even down in Babylon.

But if you rebel against Nebuchadnezzar when he comes, then you are going to be destroyed.

Well, Daniel and the three Hebrew children, they believed the preaching of Jeremiah,

and there were many who did not believe him.

And there were two kinds of people, the ones who believed the preaching of Jeremiah

and others who did not, and just completely disregarded it.

And it didn't end up too good for them, did it?

The first group received the good promise from God,

but the other group did not receive any promise. When Nebuchadnezzar

carried Judah away into Babylon during the first wave in 604 BC, he also took part of the vessels
