All right, let's get started. Thank you so much for your patience. I think it's incumbent upon me

to share what the Lord had ministered to me concerning Hurricane Harvey. Clearly, this storm was epic,

historic, and even prophetic.

And it has and is having a profound impact on everyone.

If you're anything like me, and I suspect that you are,

it has been absolutely heartbreaking to watch as this devastation and even the flooding that has ensued has just decimated the lives of so many people.

For me personally, I was struck with the peculiarity of just how

sudden this storm developed, and I was even more so astonished at how destructive this storm was,

and even now still is. From some of the initial reports that I've heard, it does seem that Harvey may in fact

go down in the record books as being the most destructive storm in the history of the United

States of America. For those who would wish to support the relief effort, I want to quickly refer you to two ministries, the first of which is Samaritan's Purse.

You see the website there on the screen and the other, and I'll put that website up in just a moment is the Calvary Chapel Association.

So I want to talk about two aspects of this.

First, as it relates to the prophetic implication, and second second as it pertains to the personal application.

In so doing, what I'm hoping to accomplish is to connect the dots prophetically while at the same

time address the difficult questions of pain and suffering personally.

Again, we witnessed horrific and unthinkable pain and suffering and devastation on the parts of so many.

Actually, both sort of tie in together in the sense that this catastrophic event has implications for all of us,

as well as application to all of us.
