Got a big slate for you today.

Talk a lot of hoops at the top of the show,

including a little play-it or pass it in segment two, a little baseball player to, a player to pass it as well. It's PGA week. We start our coverage of that with Len Hockberg joining us today. And we'll finish out on our favorite picks on the baseball betting slate as well. Nick, though, we got to start with basketball. Two really interesting games last night, starting off with Cab's Pistons.

It was a tale of two halves for Donovan Mitchell, who just was utterly dominant in the second

half.

0:44.9

You are all over Mitchell and your props last night, yesterday's show.

For a half, we're getting a little nervous about it, but then he more than surpassed it in

0:52.6

the second half for us there.

Yeah, we didn't get off to a great start last night, Jeff, because I was under on James Harden points plus assist. He had a huge first half. He's hitting everything from beyond the arc. He was, you know, dishing out assists. And that one was basically sunk from the start. And Donovan Mitchell had a horrible, horrible first half. One of eight from the field, one of five from beyond the arc, just four points. And I thought in a lot of ways, if somebody had told me that would be Donovan Mitchell's shooting line. I would say the calves are probably down 10 plus. So, you know, Cleveland was lucky, I thought, for for it to only be a four point game at the half. Then the caps come out with what was probably their best offensive stretch at any point in these playoffs. Huge run, 22 nothing to begin the third quarter. It looked Jeff like the the cast were just going to put the pistons away. Maybe this is one of those games where Detroit would just throw in the towel early. Then in comes Paul Reed, in comes Karras Leverts, who had some moments in the first quarter. He had some moments in the third quarter. I actually thought it was a really nice job by by the pistons to, you know, prevent that from completely getting out of hand. You know, Cleveland ran the lead up to, I think, 14, 16 points. Detroit cut it back down to eight, down to 10, made things a little bit uncomfortable for the cabs who were still able to mostly cruise through the second half but it was because of donvin mitchell uh jeff tied the NBA playoff record with 39 points in that second half missed a free throw by the way with less than a minute left that would have given him 40 in the second half another game too jeff we We talked about the end of that Spurs Wolves game on Sunday night.

This is another one that that just got weird at the end where we had some backups in there,

2:27.3

you know, some turnovers ended up impacting the total.

2:31.5

By the way, I feel bad for those who were on the under last night because we had a few sloppy turnovers that led to run out. So this game barely pushed over. Indeed. Indeed. It was a wild game. We have our text thread. And I was joking it. It was the Curis Lavert revenge game, former Cavalier, Carus Levert. And he was great. It wasn't just like the action production is also the plus minus when he was in there.

2:50.9

It was pretty wild to see compared to some of the other starters there. So that was fun.

2:55.3

But yeah, Mitchell was amazing in this one there. They got the moments there. That third quarter was

2:59.8

just breathtaking. We've seen that a little bit in the regular season after the hardened trade.

3:04.9

They played like this. That's the Cavaliers team that we thought they were capable of saving this year.

3:09.4

And maybe even had good hopes for going into the playoffs.

3:11.9

Haven't seen a whole lot of that in this playoffs.

3:13.5

Saw it last night.
