unpack in major league baseball. But I'll give you all my favorite basketball plays. Jeff will have the baseball plays covered as the show rolls along. Just a reminder, as always, if you miss any of our shows, if you want to relist it, you can find prop points. You can find every decent show in podcast form, wherever you get your podcast. Vsen. Jeff, we had big news in the NBA last night. For one, Lakers Thunder, which I think a lot

1:22.9

of people had circled as potentially the game of the night. You know, we talked about this as,

1:26.8

and it's not really a spot where I trust the L.A. Lakers. Look, I didn't think they'd be down 30 plus at the half. I mean, this was a full on blitz from the jump by the OKC Thunder. Felt like they did not miss a single shot early on. And look, we knew the Lakers weren't going to crawl back in and win this game. never really felt like they were going to cover the eight and a half. But to literally add insult to injury, Luca Dodgich went down with a hamstring injury. He tweaked it earlier in the game. They allowed him to return. This is not good for the Lakers. No initial timetable quite yet for Luca. But look, we have like nine days left in the regular season.

2:02.0

This is easily something that could carry into the playoffs now for Luca.

2:07.6

Yeah, absolutely.

2:08.7

And you look at what Luca has done in the past there, you know, just having these injuries

2:14.4

in the past, that's something you watch for.

2:16.3

Jeff Stott's on Rottowire was talking about the length of this type of hamstring injury.

2:19.6

And it's usually like eight games or so, maybe, maybe if you're lucky, five to eight games. But this puts the first round of the playoffs in flux here, too. No question. I mean, I've been saying the Houston Rockets are the team you want to face in round one. look, if the Lakers, if the Lakers go into the playoffs with Luca Dantzich, either hobbled or not in the lineup, I think all of a sudden, you know, the three seed L.A. is the team that, that you would be targeting. I don't think there's any chance the Lakers win a playoff series, whether that's against Denver, against Houston, against Minnesota, without Luca Dantzsche playing at full strength. So tough blow on the NBA slate last night.

2:52.8

Elsewhere in the NBA, we had the Hornets. Commanding win over the Phoenix Suns fell behind by

2:57.5

double digits in the second quarter, rallied back, ended up turning that game into a blowout.

3:01.2

Concaniple broke Kemba Walker's record for rookie three-pointers made. Just incredible season continues for Knieple. He is your rookie of the year favorite. And one other note from last night, Jeff, we had the San Antonio Spurs blowing out the LA Clippers in L.A. without Victor Weminiama. And this is one of those injuries that crept up without really any notice. You know, sometimes you'll see a little bit of a suspicious line and you'll wonder, okay, why is this sitting where it is? We saw a huge, huge line movement once when Mbonyama was ruled out. It just didn't matter, man. This Spurs team is such a wagon right now. Spurs don't lose. You said it time and time again. It holds true. You did point out the line was suspiciously low even before he was ruled out at
