Coming in hot, Nick, we had a big day last night.

A lot of successful picks, both basketball and baseball.

A lot of big news happening as well.

We'll start off at the Chicago Bulls, Billy Donovan, not returning after six years at the helm.

Yeah, and this sounds like it was Billy Donovan's decision, which is interesting.

Now, the Chicago Bulls, of course, cleaned house a couple of weeks ago, finally freeing the organization, freeing their fans of

the Cardasovus era, which was just the most classic modern Chicago Bulls era that you could

imagine, right? Just, you know, mediocre basketball, shooting for 500, shooting for the play in,

seemingly every year, you know, they had opportunities to kind of do some things in the draft. You know, there were rumors that they could have been the team that that traded with New Orleans. You know, they of course ended up trading with Atlanta to make the Derrick Queen pick. But, you know, I think the Billy Donovan era, the Cardasovus era are just characterized by mediocrity, right? And, you know, I don't think you necessarily blame Billy Donovan because he proved that he's a

really good head coach.

It seems like forever ago that he was coaching in OKC.

Those were not necessarily fantastic rosters, especially toward the end of that run.

He had probably more success, excuse me, I think than the average coach would have in that

situation.

So you could see why the Bulls were willing to retain him. But if you're Billy Donovan, you know, I think you just kind of want to take a step back, maybe jump back into coaching, see what jobs open up this off season, maybe take a year off, take the Mike Tomlin route, do a little TV for a year. And look, Billy Donovan, of course, has a history and has two national titles at the college level.
