It's a big day in the NBA.

The playing tournament starts.

Excited to be talking about a lot of angles about the NBA. We'll do a little play it or pass it with the two playing games tonight. We'll talk a little Luca Donchich today in this segment as well. Brandon Kravitz joins us on the progressive money line, progressive guest line. And of course, we take a look at the baseball action, both from yesterday, where high scoring games happen left and right.

And we'll talk about our favorite picks for today's slate as well.

Nick, let's start off and talking a little bit about some injury notes here with Luca Donchich.

Probably won't be able to play this first round of the playoffs, but he's back from Spain for his special treatment.

Any sort of excitement there?

Any sort of movement?

We saw a little movement on the price on that series, but I know you're,

you're pretty confident that rockets are going to be able to handle the Lakers.

Yeah, look, I would love to say that I'm optimistic that, you know,

we'll get Luca back in the lineup.

We'll get Austin Reeves back in the

lineup. But we, we just have to be realistic about the timing on these injuries and, you know, the schedule of these playoffs. Like game one is, is Saturday. And that, that in and of itself is kind of a tough break. You're already losing, you know, one day to begin the playoffs, as opposed to that series beginning on Sunday. We don't have the full playoff schedule. We won't get it until

later this week. But we're likely looking at a Saturday, Monday, game one, game two. Maybe game two is on Tuesday. But basically what I'm getting at is like the first four games of the series could take place over eight or nine days at most. And, you know, that does not bode well for for Luca Dachich.

Obviously, there's a emergency. You don't go over to Europe to get this treatment that you can't get in the United States if you don't feel like there's a chance that it could get you back. But I just feel like this probably has to go five, six, seven games, you know, to really feel like you have a chance to get Luca and or Reeves back in the lineup.

And even if they do come back, what version are we getting? seven games, you know, to really feel like you have a chance to get Luca and or Reeves back in the lineup.

And even if they do come back, what version are we getting? Right. There's no way either of those guys are going to be close to 100%. You know, you're talking about a hamstring injury for Luca. That's really difficult to play through, right. That's not somebody you could just tape up and say, all right, I'll try to push through it.
