Summary

A letter sent November 23, 1990 reveals that then president and editor of the Sword of the Lord, Curtis Hutson, KNEW of "financial improprieties" and "immorality" but REFUSED to remove Jack Hyles from the "Sword Board." 0:11.9	group shared a letter that was written to Dr. Curtis Hudson, who was a huge name in the
0:19.0	IFB. I mean, still a huge name.
0:21.5	He's the father of Tony Hudson.
0:23.3	He's a pastor.
0:24.1	He was the editor of the Sword of the Lord for many, many, many years.
0:29.2	And someone shared a letter that was written by a pastor to the sword of the Lord.
0:35.9	And here's what it says. I'll just read what it says. It says,
0:39.0	just to note, I have been a very close friend of Dr. Curtis Hudson for many years. After waiting
0:43.6	quite a few days in praying, I've decided to send this to these people. Curtis mentions in the
0:48.0	enclosed letter. I asked him point blank questions, and this letter is his personal reply to me.
0:52.9	Please read it. I called and told him I was going
0:54.7	to send copies out, and he said he would deny all of it, and he would name me personally,
0:59.1	and it would ruin my church and ministry. He begged me to reconsider, but I'm doing what I think is
1:03.7	right. I believe something should be done about Jack Hiles, and now I believe something should be
1:07.8	done about Curtis Hudson, too. I'm sick of the whole mess.
1:11.5	So this is from 1990. Basically, this letter was written from a concerned pastor, concerned
1:17.8	about allegations made about Jack Hiles. It sounds like specifically accusations made by
1:23.6	Jack Hiles' daughter, financial mismanagement, you know, sexual immorality, a long list of things,
1:30.7	all the things I'm sure you know about Jack Hiles already.
1:32.8	Our home was full of turmoil, hatred, stress, strife, and as a little girl, it was isolating,
