The Pentecost is the day of birth for the church.

It's when the church was really born. It's when the church really took wings. It's when the church took off. The history of scholars and people who study the Bible tell us that most of the

disciples of Jesus were very young.

They were within their early 20s and only few of them or one of them was only about in their early 30s.

But the rest of them, they were just pretty much a youth group.

Jesus had a youth group.

He was 33 years of age.

Had a youth group of guys who were not mature

guys who were not experienced and guys who unfortunately they were not in Bible

schools they simply had traits some of them had businesses and these hot-headed

emotionally unstable sometimes easily offended, ego-driven,

ego-driven young man who spent three and a half years with Jesus.

And after three and a half years, you would think they would get so good.

They would become so much better.

That's why you have to understand.

You can go to church for three years and mess up hardcore.

They were with Jesus for three and a half years and messed it up.
