Our guest this week is former Burbank police lieutenant Eric Rossoff who was on the

force for 31 years, specialized in robbery homicide, which will be very

helpful today in the two cases that we're going to look at.

And he also runs the campus safety group which specializes in school safety.

Thank you so much for having me and I really appreciate it.

Tell me just a little bit about your background and your expertise in all of those years in law

enforcement.

Certainly.

I was proud to serve for the Burbank Police Department for 31 years and I had the good fortune to work in various

assignments, very interesting assignments.

Burbank as you know is a relatively small enclave in the middle of Los Angeles County, but you get a good look at a

pretty good cross section of everything that is Los Angeles, the greater Los Angeles area.

I worked in Patrol. I had an assignment in what we call

our robbery homicide division. I actually have the distinction of being one of the
