I just wanted to let you all know a few things about this episode you're about to listen to.

For one thing, it was originally released way back during the harsh California winter in November

2018, a point in history where clearly I had no clue what editing a podcast

even meant. I'm not sure the original version of this episode was even edited at all. As released

back in 2018, this episode was an hour and six minutes long. Upon re-listening and giving it another editing pass, it's now 47 minutes long, if you subtract all the blabbering I'm doing right now.

And I suspect it tells a little more cohesive of a story than the episode did at first.

That's why I'm also uploading this new edit for subscribers.

I know that's the opposite of how these things work.

Usually subscribers get the longer version.
