Kana, welcome back. Before we pick up phone calls here, I'm just curious what's at the

top of your list of things that you wanted to be sure to share with our listeners today

or the things that you're really paying attention to that are going on politically or in

the world.

Well, Tom, we had a press conference. The Progressive Caucus members did with Reverend

Barber, Richard Trump, President of the AFLCO, Mary K. Henry, President of FSEIU, and a

lot of the tip workers groups saying we have to get a $15 wage by the end of the year

that it needs to be in reconciliation. It needs to be in must pass legislation. And

I thought it was powerful. We had almost 20 members on the call. Mark Polkant was a frequent

guest.

Was one of the co-conveners. So that is a huge priority for us. And then many of us have

been talking to the White House this week about what is the path forward on that? What

is the path forward on infrastructure? Let's not wait with the kind of marathon trying

to give Republican support. Let's move forward on our agenda.
