Welcome to the Ralph Nader Radio Hour. My name is Steve Scrovan.

Along with a man who despite the fact that he has no experience in law enforcement

whatsoever is on the short list to replace

fired FBI director James Comi, my co-host David Feldman. I have plenty of experience

with law enforcement. I was arrested yesterday and I'll be arrested again. I'm always

getting arrested. Go ahead. That's just wrong to save it.

David, I don't be you, I'm really looking forward to this program.

One of the joys for me on this show is the wide range of topics we cover.

We of course cover things like politics and public policy, but last week we drilled down deep on the relationship

between music and laughter and how that works in our brains. And this week we are going to be talking

about two subjects that are important to raising children, education and parenting.

In the second half of the show, we are going to welcome Dr. Jennifer Verdelyn, author of Raised by Animals, which is about what other species can teach us about our own human parenting.

Somewhere in the middle, as always, we will throw it to our corporate crime reporter Russell Mocyver,

the Lord Peter Wimsey,
