And this week we're going to feature patriotism, the real patriotism.

The people we featured on the show who love this country so much that

they won't stop fighting to make it better.

Donald Trump and his enablers often equate nationalism with patriotism, but this couldn't

be further from the truth.

Listen, I'm worried about our democracy.

Nowadays we have leaders who use division itself as a political tool.

I'm sick and tired of the fake patriotism on the pro-country garbage that we're hearing from the right-wing anti-progress crowd.

If you want to love Trump, love him.

Go to the rallies, buy the sneakers, you want to give him absolute power, you want him to be the

leader Uber Wallace, you want him to have the right of kings, you do you.

But stop framing it as patriotism.

listeners a little bit about who you are in the work that you do.

I am a 20 plus year veteran of DC political coverage. I've covered the

White House Congress and campaigns and I came to political to do

investigations and I said you know there's just one thing I've never covered and that's the Supreme Court and they said you're perfect because now we need someone who's covered politics to cover the court.

This was right after the decision on the overturn of Roe v. Wade came out and we broke that.
