Congressman, welcome back to the program. I'm curious your thoughts on this momentous day.

It was long overdue. I mean, the case is pretty simple and that is that the

president took property from the White House that he heed didn't have any right to.

I mean, maybe like if he were to walk off with furniture from the White House or

steal portraits from the White House and they contain very sensitive information.

So the challenge it seems to me is how fast we'll be able to proceed, whether we will get a

jury verdict before the nominating contest and certainly before the general election.

And the president's team, I guess, is going to try to keep pushing this out. But voters have

it right to know about whether there's going to be a guilty verdict before the 24 election.
