President Donald Trump saying that he's a target of a federal grand jury investigation into

the events of January 6th. And there is no one better to talk to about this than Philadelphia's

own the Emanuel S. Heller professor of law at the University of California at Berkeley

at a visiting fellow at the Hoover institution at Stanford University. Of course, I'm talking about

the one and only professor, John, you. How are you? Good, good. How you doing?

Great. Philadelphia's, you know, 95 is back up and running. So we're happy.

Wow. Wow. I can't believe that. How's actually like, how did they do that? I thought the,

you know, the truck driver achieved what the Confederacy could not, which was to cut off the link

between Philadelphia and Washington. Well, I'll tell you, it's these hardworking instruction

guys and guys and Philly, you know what I mean? These, they get it done. They get the job done.

The politicians say all the credit, but it's the construction workers who did all the work.

Yeah. Yeah. Of course. I wish we could get them started over here in California,

build that high-speed rail we've been hearing about for the last 20 years. Sure.

Let's get right into what the former president came out and said yesterday. He received a letter

Sunday night, I guess, saying that he's the target now of a federal grand jury.

Is that how you understand it? Oh, sorry. Yeah. Well, look, we haven't seen the letter yet. I mean,

all we know is what President Trump has announced. This is not unusual. It's not unusual for someone

to receive a target letter. It doesn't mean for sure that he will actually be indicted.
