But it's Memorial Day Week, and that means the start of OTAs, organized team activities

across the National football league.

And there are a lot of players in attendance this week.

But there's one who stands out for not being in attendance.

And that is the Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Kyler Murray.

Now, it's not new that Murray is looking for a new contract and has been looking for a new contract all along, but it is new

that he is not at OTAs this week. Don't think he'll be showing up there anytime soon without a

new deal. And we are now into May approaching June. There's still not a new contract for Kyla Murray.

And the dynamics surrounding his deal

have changed since his unhappiness about the situation first surface. Think about this.

Kirk Cousins redid his deal in Minnesota, which now averages $35 million a year.

The Green Bay Packers gave Aaron Rogers a deal that averages $50.27 million a year.

The Cleveland Browns gave Deshawn Watson a deal that averages $46 million a year.

And the Las Vegas Raiders gave Derek Carr a deal that averages $40.5 million a year.

That doesn't include Patrick Mahomes at $45 million or Josh Allen at $43 million or Dack Prescott at $40 million.

The point is, is that the quarterback financial landscape has shifted

dramatically while Kyla Murray and other quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson await new deals.
