Kurt. Thank you, Kara. I am here with Ryan Hoover, who's the founder and CEO of Product Hunt. Ryan, welcome to Recode Media.

Thanks for having me. I've been a listener of the podcast for many months, so it's always kind of fun to be on it.

Yeah, I'm glad you said that when I reached out. Do you have, I'm going to put you on the spot. Do you have like favorite folks that you remember hearing on here or like a favorite, you're in the red chair. So I feel like, you know, like there's been a lot of people on that red chair. A lot of famous butts in this chair. I imagine. Yeah. Tech famous butts. Oh, man i should should have came prepared. I know. There's been a lot of amazing guests. That's on me. That's on me. I put you on the spot there. Well, we're really happy to have your butt in this red chair. So thank you for being here. I think the last time you and I spoke formally was when Product Hunt got acquired. My angel list. That was almost, what, a year

and a half ago? Yeah, about 19 months ago. How has life changed for you since then? Yeah, so I've

gotten this question a lot in the past year and a half. Sure. And, you know, in some ways,

not a lot has changed. In some ways, part of the vision

and the reason why we moved and kind of went under the Angel's umbrella is that we wanted to

keep some cohesiveness around the community and the team and not break what's working. And so,

we still are 20 people, roughly the same size that we were before, still mostly the same team.

And we're really focused still on building community and helping makers get users, get feedback,

connect with other people, get inspired, that kind of thing.
