What China's capable of with their objectives are for you was 2003 when you watched what China

was doing with Sudan.

Right, I don't think that Bill Ma is exactly correct. I don't think China has won. I think

that they could win and that's why we have to do a lot more to confront the Chinese Communist

Party on a range of fronts and that's something that I came to as a reporter and columnist

over the last 17 years or so and that a lot of other Americans came to over the course

of the Trump administration which turned US foreign policy toward China in a new and

unchangeable way.

Of course, everyone in the world came to that realization when the pandemic hit because

you realized if you were stuck in your basement, if you couldn't see your grandmother and whatever

country you were in that the Chinese Communist Party's actions and strategy exacerbated your

suffering in some way or another. Now we're at this point in our history no matter how

we got here no matter when we figured it out where we realized that we have a problem

here and that's not just America, that's all free and open societies all over the world

to we're facing China that's increasingly internally repressive, externally aggressive

and interfering in our society and affecting our security, our public health and our prosperity
