You know, we have about 104,000 high schoolers that are not going to school right now in Chicago.

What we experience in as a city is an astronomical jump in car jackets and other crimes.

And the Chicago Police Department just came out and said there have been 374 arrests just this year alone.

And 44% of those arrests are juvenile.

A lot of these crimes are happening doing school hours. They also saying that the motivation behind it is actually joy riding.

Our kids are screaming to have us put them in a position where they can have some type of activity.

But we're giving them our only opportunities to do negative, negative activities.

We'll be pressed in father of six on Fox and friends about an hour ago, talking about the the perils of keeping schools closed for a year in most cities.

A lot of these major cities, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco.

They left them home for a year, many of which don't even have the laptops to log on to get on to zoom where most kids aren't paying attention.

There's no discipline. There's no organizations creating so many problems.

And I can go on challenges for first graders, kindergarteners, fourth, fifth graders.

Think about the senior year high school was just going by the board sports that haven't been played.

Parents can't go back to work.

Well, the ones that do know in their kids need supervision, but they have no choice.

Dr. Michelle Bourbon knows all about these challenges.

She's an educational psychologist and expert in parenting, bullying and character development.

Dr. Bourbon, this is a unique thing. We're in the middle of a pandemic for a complete year.

One year ago, people went home with their books, with their work, and a lot haven't gone back.
