talk about something that we don't necessarily have time to talk about during the regular show.

podcast and a podcast network, and we like to give you a little

And a lot of times it's cultural, sometimes it's political, sometimes it's political and cultural,

which is where we find ourselves today.

It is a perfect intersection of politics and pop culture.

You know where I'm going with this.

We're talking about Kanye West.

Now, I should just preface this by saying, I like Kanye West's music. I don't obsess over it or geek out when he has new music coming out. I'm also almost 40 years old. So I think that's probably right. But like I'm into Kanye West to a degree. I just did a long road trip I listened to a lot

of Kanye's music he gets a lot right I mean college dropout is one of in my opinion the best

albums ever it's a fantastic hip hop album and I there's a saying that that like has been kicking

around floating around the hip hop community for a couple of years now.

I missed the old Kanye.

Because like the old Kanye's music, Kanye's old music was really good and thoughtful and gave

us something to think about.

And then Kanye sort of evolved into this performance artist where some of his music is a little hard to listen to.

Yeah, I mean, if you compare through the wire where he is literally rapping through the wire,
