This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus.

Psalm 71, verse 15, I want to give you scripture and context for what's going on

and why we're doing this tonight. Are you there? Say Jess.

All right. My mouth will tell of your righteous acts. This is verse 15.

Of your deeds of salvation all the day.

For their number is past my knowledge, with the mighty deeds of the Lord, God, I will come.

I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.

O God, from my youth, you have taught me.

And I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.

So even to old age and gray hairs, oh God, do not forsake me

until I proclaim your might to another generation,

your power to all those to come.

Here we hear the psalmist sharing his heart to declare the works of the Lord until the day he goes home.

The other day I was writing in my cool old ancient journal,

and the Lord said, write neatly.

And I thought, and I'm all alone in my room, I'm like, I can read it.

Like, what's the problem here?

The Lord said, write neatly.

He said, your children's children will read this journal.

Wow. Wow.

And here you hear the same heart in the psalmist.

I will tell the generations to come, even when my hair is gray.
