So I've tried to maintain just really an organic flow, and I appreciate the the topics I know I mentioned last week

topic I'm going to focus something that's very specific to to my field in doing

neuropsychology and neuropsych assessments and diagnostics.

And it was, you know, Julie's idea to kind of come up with this because, well, first of all,

I'm talking about processing speed.

And, you know, it's something that comes up very frequently and often unexpectedly.

And a lot of people are like, what is that?

I'd never heard of that.

So, you know, you think about a kid like sitting in a classroom who understands everything,

but can't keep up, can't really keep up the pace but that

that doesn't mean they're lazy or they're oppositional or even like it the inattentive type of

ADHD they're slow um it really in the way our world kind of you know worships speed

but it's that's slow in a derogatory sense.

So I guess, like, what I would say, well, processing speed really is, it's not intelligence,

it's not working memory, it's not effort, it's efficiency.

It's efficiency with which the brain takes and information,

organizes, and produces a response. So I usually refer to this as a triad of input, visual, and

auditory, primarily. Mental manipulation, doing something with the information, and that

output, generating a response.
