Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Pant Suit Politics. Today,

we are going to tackle

pandemic. You know, I did a little piece on the news brief. It's hard to say

pandemic like a lot in a row. So because of the

first clusters or because you can't believe that. Yeah, yeah. And so I mean, that is

in full disclosure, the smallest part of the struggle of pandemic, but just felt like voicing it.

We are also going to talk about a couple other headlines, but before we get started,

we wanted to welcome our newest executive producer, Janice Elliott. Janice, thank you so much for

supporting our show. You've heard Janice's voice on the podcast before. She has been a long time

supporter and is just an incredibly wise and loving and compassionate soul and we are so happy to have

So as of the day of recording our show, there are over 1.2 million confirmed cases of coronavirus

in the United States and over 73,000 deaths. Only 189,000 people are counted as having recovered

from the virus. It is important to note that those deaths aren't equal. A study showed that

counties with disproportionately African-American populations accounted for 52% of COVID-19
