We got some wrestling news to get into and some fascinating ratings news. And, you know, I want to open up this show by making a little bit of a statement.

0:40.0	by, your viewpoints about wrestling, you know, change. You evolve, you adapt, something you may
0:46.5	like now you may not have liked back then or vice versa. Your opinions do change. And it's very,

0:57.1	other than the fact that we're wrestling fans. One thing that I have been saying since I started
1:03.4	my hotline in 97 and Kev's been saying since the early 2000s when he was doing the hotlines,
1:09.5	was that when wrestling ratings are low or disappointing,
1:14.6	disappointing might be the better word, there's always people out there making excuses for it.
1:21.0	Back in the day it was Survivor. Then you got Monday night football. Then you got the Olympics.
1:25.4	Then you got tragedy. then you got the elections,
1:28.0	then there's always an excuse.
1:30.7	Yet, when other TV shows go head to head with wrestling and do a crap number, you never
1:37.8	hear them say, well, Ro was on last night.
1:42.0	The only people that ever make excuses are wrestling fans.
1:46.5	It's been like that for decades.
1:48.6	If you do a Google search about ratings on a Monday night, a Wednesday night, or a
1:54.0	Friday night, three quarters of the news articles are wrestling.
