What's up everybody? Welcome to the Tomahawk show. We are gearing up for Pro Bowl week, which actually may be more exciting than we've seen it over the last 15 years because being played through video games.

0:52.0

I am your host Andrew Hawkins joined by a perennial pro bowler.

0:57.0

Fat Net is in the building. Also Joe Thomas is here. What's going on man? It was making me laugh when you said that about the pro bowl because only somebody that has not left their garage in the last 11 months could get excited about watching grown men playing video games.

1:15.0

I'm sure that alienates half of the Tomah flock, but I'm okay with that because I have not. My kids aren't old enough yet for me to get into the video game train, although I love video games when I was a kid, but I'm kind of looking forward to buying that first video game console system when they turn you know eight or nine and like starting to get down in the basement and getting in the weeds like seven eight straight hours of playing mad football or one of those video games whatever they play in these days.

1:43.0

Kind of sounds like a nice afternoon. I'm not going to lie. Yeah, there'll probably be teleportation systems by the time your kids are old enough.

2:11.0

I'm a lot of stuff to talk about today so well first off how was your week give me give let's let's do some family stuff since you know we're all in a pandemic still in. Yeah I don't know life is just crazy every week man with it was going on with you. Yeah yeah I'm I don't know you know for me my life is so boring and I think everybody has that on perspective you know my own life is boring and then when I tell people like wow that's interesting.

2:35.0

So I spent the last two days out in the farm we're doing the time already. I already sounds boring but yeah and I spent like four or five hours a day going out and like marking trees for the logger to come in and cut down.

2:49.0

So I got incredible workout like trudging through knee deep snow like up and down the mountains of Wisconsin fighting the wild animals in the wild beasts so that was that was great got my nature exercise and feel better because of it I'm guessing that both you and Matt had similar experiences this week so I'm here.

3:11.0

I should also mention we had a interesting first so my kids go to private school in Wisconsin but the public school that they used to go to before the pandemic hit is all virtual right now and we got a big snowstorm on Tuesday and I thought it was pretty funny that even though the kids are doing virtual school there was a virtual snow day and so they had school canceled on Tuesday which I thought it was kind of funny since apparently when it snows out your Wi-Fi doesn't work either.

3:39.0

So that was the highlights of my week what about you guys well don't the teachers do have to go into the school or no I don't know and maybe they do so maybe that was the thinking.

3:50.0

I just thought it was kind of funny I was like wait aren't they virtual like their computers don't work when it snows outside.

3:57.0

I'm trying to keep normal see for everybody know that you cut down trees five hours a day man I'm not even kidding we talk about this all the time we live such different lives is not even fun like a hard days work for me.

4:10.0

It's like I was in front of my computer sending emails from 6 a.m. to hang in line keep working I didn't get a chance to go work out because I had so many damn emails to catch up on that is that is what my day consists of sending emails building like.

4:25.0

PDF pitch decks writing out strategies for hours a day for multiple companies that's what my day is which is the complete we are a walking TV show that's where you're so you were doing things that actually might make you money down the line I was doing things that completely waste time and calories but that was kind of the point like it totally took my mind off of normal life for about four or five hours a day because your focus is very small and there's nobody else around.

4:53.0

There's not even any people that you can hear not hearing car noises or anything like that right and it's fun it's it's like a nice relaxing get away but I was definitely tired because I want to bet about a 45 both nights because I was just asked I walked the first day six and a half miles in the second day seven point three miles because I tracked it on my phone but I'm curious if I gave you a chainsaw hawk and there was like a you know a blink in size tree outside

5:22.0

in a little George Washington apple tree or whatever the tree was that he supposedly cut down do you think you cut it down if I gave you a chainsaw without killing yourself without killing myself or without significantly maming yourself I was going to say can I lose a limb.

5:38.0

No, you're allowed to lose one limb. But you can't die but not too not too limb. All right. No, I could cut it down. My father was a carpenter. So yeah, you'd be all right. I get my work ethic from my father father. I would have to go you know work with him. It's just also the reason why I went to corporate life as well.

5:59.0

You're like, you know, way I'm doing that for a living. Yeah, it's way too hard. If I could avoid it, I'm cool. If I can survive. I could cut the tree down. That's funny. All right. Well, let's get into some football talk here, man. I mean the biggest story, you know, it's always weird. It's middle week between a Super Bowl and the and the championships.

6:16.0

Oh, it's weekend because it's like it's almost like a little preview of the off season and like, oh, there's really no football and people don't care. And this year's especially weird because we're not gearing up to travel to Tampa Bay for the Super Bowl. It's my first time not being in the Super Bowl city since 2000 and
