That's according to an FT analysis of data from the International Energy Agency.

This is a widespread attempt to curb the effect of high prices caused by the Iran war. The price of Brent crude was at $108 a barrel on Monday, and Goldman Sachs says that could reach

120 if the conflict drags on. But cutting taxes isn't an easy answer. It addresses the energy
