Now, long ago in a galaxy far, far away, and I'm saying this because I legitimately do not remember how many weeks ago we released the original one of this. But back in that episode where we

explained shadow banking, I said that I had had to cut off the part of the episode that was the reason why I wrote it in the first place.

Happens to me every week.

I've also kind of had to split some of this episode off.

That will be another episode, probably with Ed Zitron whenever I have enough seconds in my life to pull all of that together.

But today we are here to talk about the actual sort of shadow bank run, I guess you would

call it, financial problems that caused me to write the shadow banking

episode in the first place. Oh, right. Why I originally asked you what shadow banking is,

because there was some kind of economy problem, and there was like a fake run on the fake banks.

Yes. And Molly, you will be extremely unhappy to note that a big part of the reason why there was the fake run on the fake banks was that the shadow banks loaned a bunch of money to a different type of shadow bank.

I don't think they should have done that.

And that shadow bank went under.
