Eddie Zacapa, founder of Life Enriching Communication (LEC), is a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) and lives in the Sacramento, CA area. During 16 years working in the domestic violence field, Eddie developed a year-long court-approved NVC-based batterers' program with an amazing 0% recidivism after 10 years (no one returned to using violence at home). He still oversees a batterer intervention program through LEC in El Dorado County.


He also has facilitated anger management, conflict management, parenting classes and other workshops on various topics. He is the director of Life Enriching Communication and currently offers life coaching and consulting to individuals, families, and organizations. He uses Life Enriching Communication (aka Nonviolent Communication) and incorporates this into his workshops and coaching. Eddie has recently published a book, Essentials for Cultivating Passionate Volunteers and Leaders. The book highlights his experiences with managing volunteers through the years and provides insights for retaining volunteers and cultivating passion and empathy in the workplace. 


He currently provides Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workshops to the public.


In his workshops he assists individuals in understanding and implementing NVC principles into their daily practice. Eddie works with a variety of clients and organizations. Some are listed below:

* Health Care and social service agencies

* Workplaces - from boardroom to shop floor

* Religious and spiritual communities - for congregants and leaders.
