So for weeks, the Internet has been going back and forth discussing

murder plots and affairs and plastic surgery guilty absolutely guilty wondering why kate middleton

the princess of wales has not been seen since Christmas.

And today she went on social media.

In a two minute and 20 second video,

she announced that she is battling cancer.

She's been diagnosed.

She is doing chemotherapy, preventative chemotherapy.

And she has assured her nation, she will be okay.

And while we were on social media fighting for clicks and likes and speculating the worst things that could happen for a family and a couple, the truth is we have two people

trying to figure out what they're going to do for their

family and how they're going to explain this to their little kids, their little babies

that mommy's sick. I think next time we should just hold back. And even though they're public

people and we expect information, we won't.
