Summary

Prince Philip walked away after his Landrover was involved in a crash near the Sandringham estate - and straight into a PR disaster. The proudly independent Duke of Edinburgh has always loved driving. He has a reputation as a daredevil, even apparently threatening to throw the Queen out of the car when she didn't like the speed he was going.Initial relief that he walked away unscathed merged with concern for the 97-year-old continuing to drive. But his reappearance two days later driving without a seat belt caused anger, as has the treatment of the others involved in the collision.Pod Save the Queen host Ann Gripper is joined by Daily Mirror royal editor Russell Myers to discuss whether it is the end of the road for the Duke of Edinburgh behind the wheel.  For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
