Summary

Prince Harry’s high-profile phone-hacking battle got off to a strong start, with the duke arriving at London’s High Court calm, focused, and prepared to give evidence later this week. Across the Atlantic, former CNN anchor Don Lemon unleashed on rapper Nicki Minaj during an appearance on TMZ Live, telling her to “sit the f*** down,” “get a life,” and “grow some brains” in a fiery clapback. Hello, Alo, Alo, Alo, Alo, hello, hello, hello, welcome to the naughty but nice show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it's Tuesday, which means our dear friend. Delana Dixon joins us. Hey, Delana, are you there? Yes, I'm back. I'll rest it from the Golden Globes, so good to be back with the Nautis. Welcome back. Welcome back. We've missed you, my friend. Let's jump into the show. What time is it?

0:40.9

It's my friends. It is tea time. Big, big story at the top of the show. So Harry, Prince Harry's trial in London got off to a very strong start. It is a phone hacking scandal. It is a phone hacking trial. Let me explain. So he's in London

battling a British tabloid and it got off to a really, really strong start, Misty. The prince

arrived at the high court and he was calm. He was focused and he was ready to give evidence. Later

1:09.6

this week, he hasn't given evidence yet. Now, there,

1:30.8

This case was not settled. It is now a trial. So early on, early on, all the real evidence, it was

1:39.2

wrapped around a private investigator called Gavin Burroughs.

1:49.3

Gavin Burroughs was the private investigator, and he initially claimed, he's the one that came forward and said, on behalf of the tabloid, I bugged cars, I bugged phones, I even bugged private

rooms.

1:57.9

That's what sparked Harry's lawsuit.

2:04.6

Until Gavin actually said that, it was hard to connect all the dots. A lot of suspicion. Maybe they were bugging the prince. Maybe they were

2:09.7

bugging celebrities, but they needed to connect them. They needed somebody to say, yes, they were

2:14.8

doing it and I did it. I placed bugs on these phones, in these cars,

2:20.3

in these private rooms. Well, Burroughs later recanted that statement, insisting that his

2:26.5

testimony and his signature were false. Well, at the time, I think everybody, including Harry's

2:31.4

people, thought it was over. They couldn't possibly move forward if they didn't have Gavin as a witness.

2:38.2

Well, they did move forward, and Harry's barrister, which is a British term for a lawyer,
