So yesterday on the podcast, we talked about the rumor that Harry and Megan were going to go to the Oscars.

Well, it actually turns out, look at that.

They got invited and said, no, thank you. So the 90s Second Academy Awards

were on Sunday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were invited to present the Oscar for Best Picture.

Let me explain this. So when you get invited to the Oscars to present, there's actually a hierarchy and the bigger your celebrity, the bigger award you get to present.

So the big award of the night is Best Picture.

Whoever presents that is the biggest star in the room and they all know it, they all judge.

So if you're asked to present Best Sound editing, it's a very prestigious thing, but it's not quite as prestigious as the best picture or the best actress.

Everything's a hierarchy. Isn't it awful? In life, everything? We're all such snobs. Well, Harry and Megan are two of the biggest stars in the world, certainly at the moment. So they were offered the biggest award of the night, the best picture. They turned it down. I wonder if Jane Fonda knows that she was the second choice. Jane Fonda presented Best Picture. They wanted Megan and Hatch. Don't tell Jane. I love her. She won't know her. She looked great. Don't tell her. So they were invited to the Oscars. They said no. Our friends over at Hello Magazine, that's a good name for a magazine.
