We know that he is the source of our life and our culture.

This is the island of Tana in Vanuatu 10,000 miles from Buckingham Palace.

A volcanic island east of Australia, dominated by an extremely active, consistently explosive volcano, known by local people as Yasser or the old man.

An island where in a handful of villages people are unswerving in their belief

that Prince Philip was and is an ancestral spirit and son of their mountain god.

An island where Prince Philip was honoured during his lifetime

and is still revered after his death.
