We begin with the breaking news at this hour, which is that Prince Andrew has been

stripped of all his royal titles by his brother, the king.

It was 7pm on Friday night when Buckingham Palace sent out the email.

The king and his troublesome little brother had been talking,

and Andrew had some news.

In a statement, Prince Andrew wrote,

I have decided, as I always have,

to put my duty to my family and country first.

The continued accusations about me distract from the work of his majesty.

I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me.

Andrew remains a prince. It's his birthright as the late Queen's second son and wants her

favourite child. But he will stop using his titles.
