I liked it. So Mike Jacina commissioned this

podcast and it's for the 2004 movie science fiction Movie Primer.

Oh yeah.

Written, directed, and starring Shane Karuth, with a budget of only $7,000.

Before we get started, I'm just going to let Mike take it away.

I said I'd love to your thoughts on the ultra low budget movie Primer.

I first saw this movie around the time it came out a little over 10 years ago and was blown

away.

It's currently streaming on Netflix, BT Dubs, still streaming on Netflix, and I've recently revisited.

After some years have passed and the bus has long died down, I've found Primers seems to fall into the

Love It or Hate It category. This is by far one of the most complex and

interesting time travel plots I've ever watched. Like many people that have seen

it, I need multiple views and a little bit of research to pieces all

together. Hopefully you guys won't need to, as you seem much brighter about these things than me.

Ha ha ha.

However, many people seem to dislike the film for its complexity which seems to stem from things left

being or being left vague or unexplained.

Other people find a techno-babble during the first act to be dry and boring.

Some criticize the acting from the main characters and some take issue with the film

for being noticeably low budget and quote unquote low quality.
