Questions to the Prime Minister?

Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

I know the whole House will wish to join me in congratulating Lester City on winning the Premier League title.

Five thousand to one out six. winning the Premier League title.

Five thousand to one outsiders at the start of the season, they've shown superb ability, incredible resilience and a great team ethic.

Mr. Speaker, this morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others, and in addition to my duties in this

House, I shall have further such meetings later today.

May I start by associating myself with comments regarding Leicester City, something like

to agree on Mr. Minister.

The Foreign Secretary said on Monday, there is a need for a new initiative in the Syria

dialogue to keep it alive. Will the Prime Minister withdraw his airstrikes, which have done

nothing to bring about peace, and redouble his efforts in securing political resolution

to war through a new dialogue as recommended by his own Foreign Secretary?

I think we should do both things, which is to continue to hit Daesh terrorists because they

threaten our country, but at the same time do everything we can to support dialogue between

the opposition and the Syrian regime, which is what the process has been about. And we'll continue to take both those steps.
