One, please, Mr. Speaker.

Mr. Speaker, as the House will be in recess next week, I'm sure that colleagues will join

me in looking ahead to Armist's Day and remembering those men and women who have served

and lost their lives in the service of this country.

We also thank the members of our armed forces who continue

to do so today. Mr Speaker, this morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others.

In addition to my duties in this House, I shall have further such meetings later today.

Dr Rupert. Prime Minister has been busy preaching urgency this week at COP26. I hope he caught up with his sleep.

But when he sits down with his grandchildren one day and they ask, what do you do that week at COP26,

would he be able to undertake one action in his gift that would have an immediate impact?

Would he be consistent with what he's always said and done and take on the

biggest emitter of CO2 in the whole of Europe that greedily, voraciously wants more?

Willie ditches, predecessors, damaging, daft, pre-leveling up, pre-Zoon, pre-90% drop in demand

and have a fresh vote in this House to kill off the third runway at Heathrow.

Mr. Speaker, what this government is going to do, rather than taking steps to damage the economy of this country, what we are going to do, which is what Labour would do,

what we are going to do is get to net zero aviation, Mr. Speaker. That's the future for

this country. Clean, green aviation. And by the way, I think that we have a, that has every

chance of arriving a lot earlier, Mr Speaker, than a third runway at Heathrow.
