Questions to the Prime Minister?

Number one, Mr. Minister.

Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

I am sure the whole House will wish to join me

in offering our best wishes to His Royal Highness, Prince Harry,

and Meghan Markle on their wedding this Saturday and the very best for their

future lives together. And Mr. Speaker, it is also Mental Health Awareness Week, and I think

it is fitting that we mark Prince Harry's tireless work to raise awareness of the ongoing challenges

faced by service personnel, making the transition to civilian life, including support for their mental health.

And Mr. Speaker, may I say how appropriate it is for this House to have recognised the bravery and hard work of P.C. Jonathan Wright and P.C. Craig Nichols in apprehending the killer of Joe Cox.

When Joe Cox was killed, this House lost one of its best.

Mr. Speaker, this morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others. In addition to my

duties in this House, I shall have further such meetings later today.

Simon Hall. Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Animal welfare and environmental standards are clearly

key for British

agriculture. But could I ask my right, Honourour UK farmers that food security and

food production will be recognised at the heart of future UK agriculture policy?

Can I say to my honourable friend that he does raise an important point? He's absolutely right to do so.
