Mr. Speaker, this morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others.

In addition to my duties in this House, I shall have further such meetings later today.

Over the last week, thousands of people across, Frankly, Great Park and South Northfield

have done what's been asked to them to go and get a test because of a small number of South African variant cases in the constituency.

Would the Prime Minister join

me in thanking Dr Justin Varney and Councillor Simon Morale and Birmingham City Council for

everything they've done to be able to scale up mass testing across Franklin Great Park

and encourage anyone who hasn't had a test so far to get one at one of the designated sites?

Yes indeed Mr Speaker.

I thank my honourable friend for raising it.

Indeed, I join him in thanking the NHS staff who are scaling up testing

to the surge testing in the way that he describes.

And I encourage everybody in the area and indeed throughout the country to get a vaccine when you're asked to do so.
