Okay, this is Beth. Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people the Word

of God. We base our ministry on Hebrews 4.12 that tells us that the Word is alive and

He wasn't just priest, he was a priest of the Most High God, the most critical importance.

He was not just any kind of priest. He just had come up with priest and Genesis 14 and

for that reason, first mention, we're going to study it. But what tells us that he is

of great significance is that he is a priest of the Most High God. It is the name, as I

spoke a moment ago, you have it in your listening guide. L means what you know. That's God, God.

L means God. L, L, Ion, that L, Ion part of it originates from the word Allah, the word Allah.

And the word Allah means to go up, to go up. I just think this is absolutely thrilling. Stay

with it here. What does the name Allah mean? It means to go up. All right. If you will look in

your Bibles and you will do a study of every single time you see either God Most High or Most High

named in Scripture, look in your context. Overwhelmingly, it will be in context with polytheistic

surroundings. It's extremely important. We see it in the book of Daniel. We see it in a number

of other places. And if you'll look, you'll see that very often that particular, you and I learned

together when we studied the Hebrew names of God. They are always used in perfect context.

So whatever, there's something about that context that makes that name stick out. L,

Ion is one of those times. Overwhelmingly, it's used in a situation where many surrounding it,

there's an extreme polytheistic kind of surrounding. So that's your blank. This name for God is

used overwhelmingly in a polytheistic P-O-L-Y-T-H-E-I-S-T-I-C polytheistic setting. Remember,

there is no line of the Jews yet. Abram has just been pulled out in Genesis chapter 12. That name
