2 it says when pride comes then comes disgrace but with the humble is wisdom. Now this idea

of pride versus humility can be a little confusing at first because when we hear the word humility

we might hear in it the word humiliation and that has always been a negative

connotation in most cultures to be humiliated is not a good thing and then in some cultures

the word pride is actually a virtue to have pride in yourself to have pride in what you do

to have pride in your children those are positive ways that we tend to use the word.

But our use of those words is not necessarily the way that God would use those words. You see

in Proverbs 11 2 he's using them in actually almost the exact opposite of the examples that I

just gave you let's read it again he said when pride comes so imagine a situation where people

are interacting with each other or engaging with each other in some sort of conversation it says when
