On April 22nd, the Supreme Court heard arguments, oral arguments,

in a case arising out of Maryland where a local school board refused to allow parents to

opt their children, kindergartners, elementary school age kids, even pre-kindergarteners out of a

curriculum that included books and teaching materials on homosexual sex, transsexuals, drag queens, and more,

and where teachers were instructed to disrupt the binary thinking of these children when it comes to gender.

One of the books, for example, was a book entitled Pride Puppy in which a family loses their dog

in a pride parade and is looking for words such as drag queen intersects and underwear.

I never thought I would hear Supreme Court justices having a debate over whether teaching materials

for kids were representative of bondage or a woman in a leather jacket. Normally, cases in

Supreme Court are given one hour for oral arguments, but in this case, the Supreme Court extended that

to two and a half hours, which for a lawyer in court before the highest court in the land is a

very long time to be answering questions. Here to talk about the case today is the lawyer who

actually argued the case on behalf of the

parents who sued Jewish, Muslim, Christian parents. It's Eric Baxter. He's a senior counsel and

vice president at the Beckett Fund, which is an advocacy organization that protects the religious freedom rights of

Americans, no matter what, they're a religion. And Eric, I appreciate you coming today. You've argued

cases all over the country. And I think you have had clients representing all the major religions

of the world. And I will tell you, folks, because I know, Eric, if I was in a foxhole with my religious

rights being attacked, the guy would want in that foxhole fighting with me is Eric Baxter.
